Refund and return policy
Fonts are digital files you can keep a copy of, so they cannot be returned like a parcel. We still put things right when something goes wrong. Last updated 1 October 2026.
Free fonts
Free fonts cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund. If a free font is broken or listed under the wrong licence, report it and we will fix or remove it.
When we refund a paid licence
- Faulty files. The font will not install, is missing characters the page says it has, or is damaged, and we or the designer cannot fix it within 7 days.
- Not as described. The files are clearly different from the previews, weights or languages shown on the font page.
- Charged twice. You bought the same licence for the same font more than once by mistake.
- Wrong licence. You bought the wrong licence type and ask within 14 days. We refund it once you buy the right one.
- Unauthorised payment. Someone used your card without permission.
When we do not refund
- You changed your mind after the files were available to download.
- The font does not suit your project, when it matches its previews and description.
- Your software does not support a feature the font page does not claim, such as variable fonts in an older app.
Try before you buy: every font can be previewed with your own text, at any size, before you pay.
Who processes refunds
Paid licences are sold through our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles returns and issues every approved refund, and your receipt comes from Paddle. You can ask us or Paddle directly; we work with Paddle to resolve every request.
How to ask
Use the report a problem form and choose Payment or licence. Include your licence number (it starts with KRN and is in your purchases) and tell us what went wrong. Ask within 30 days of buying.
What happens next
- We reply within two working days.
- Approved refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 working days.
- The licence ends when the refund is made. Stop using the font and delete the files.
